Currently under construction in Kirkwood, Missouri, this private home being built by Trumpet Builders , provides for the “not-so-big-house” mentality as it weighs in at only 2100 square feet with 5 bedrooms! The guts and skin of the walls will consist of recycled drywall over 6 mil poly-vapor barrier on the inside face, and closed cell cell spray foam insulation throughout, and 2X6 exterior wall construction.
The interior of this home will be heated and cooled with a geothermal system  as well as a trombe wall inspired passive solar fireplace element. The interior custom millwork will bemanufactured here in St. louis, with trees salvaged, kiln dried, and milled here in Missouri – supplied by MWANZI Green building supply .
This home will be certified GREEN under HBA’s GBI certification (we anticipate GOLD certification).
